Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss, a bluegrass fiddler hailing from Tennessee, at the age of 19, became a famous national figure in the year 1990 following receiving the Grammy Award to be the Best Bluegrass Album. It was an impressive feat, not just because Krauss was young but also because I've Got That Old Feeling was the third album in her collection. Too Late to Cry was the first album she released around age 16. Champaign Illinois native's age of 16. Krauss had signed to Rounder Records, one of the leading folk labels even at 14. Her achievements so young as well as her amazing virtuosity have always been matched by her faithfulness to bluegrass.
