Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Elliott Taylor, an American stage, screen actor and producer. Her best-known role is as a film actress due to her work in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She graduated with a BA degree in African-American Studies and an MFA from the Tisch School of Arts New York University. Aunjanue is an actress in theater and film who is a producer. She started her career acting in the theatre later on, she went on to be a part of numerous television shows, both mainstream and independent films. She came to prominence as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico as well as on BET's epic show The Book of Negroes for which she received not just critical acclaim but also several awards and nominations including the Television Critics Choice Award nomination for the Best Actress in a Movie. Her professional acting debut in the role of Ariel on the stage in The Tempest in 1995. Her stage credits include Broadway production of Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. In film, her career will be best recognized for movies like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express, and The Help. Her most well-known role is her work on the crime drama series on ABC, High Incident.
